Sevda Asqarova

PROF. DR. SEVDA ASQAROVA

· Born in Baku in 1954.

· Between 1969-1986, she completed her undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs with honors in the fields of Psychology, Pedagogy, and Musicology, and received associate professorship and professorship titles in these disciplines.

· She is providing master's and doctoral thesis supervision both domestically and internationally.

· She has numerous published international and national (peer-reviewed and periodic) articles, methods, books (textbooks, monographs), and translations.

· She has held memberships in domestic and international scientific organizations and has worked as an administrator in universities (dean, rector's advisor, head of department, founder of department and program).

· She is a member of the editorial boards of international journals. She holds certificates in EU Project Management and EU Project Training.

· Her domestic and international projects and books, which she has led in different years, have been awarded by UNESCO, OXFORD, and the TURKISH EDUCATION FOUNDATION.

· She is currently serving as the Head of the Occupational Therapy Department at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Üsküdar University, and as the Director of the MÜTEM - Music Therapy Research and Application Center.
