Müge Ensari Özay

Assoc. Prof. Müge Ensari Özay was born in İzmir. She received her bachelor’s degree from the Department of Chemistry at Boğaziçi University in 1997. After completing her master’s degree at the Institute of Environmental Sciences at Boğaziçi University in 2000, she received her doctorate in Chemistry in 2005.2018, she has been a faculty member in the Department of Occupational Health and Safety at the Faculty of Health Sciences at Üsküdar University, and as of 2024, she has been serving as the Director of R&D and Innovation Policies.

She has 29 scientific articles published in national and international indexed journals, 6 books, and 12 book chapters. In addition, she has delivered presentations at various conferences, served on organizing and scientific committees, and taken on roles as a consultant and researcher in five TÜBİTAK projects, both ongoing and completed.

This book initially emerged from scientific book chapters prepared by students within the scope of doctoral courses; it has evolved into a comprehensive and cohesive academic work with the addition of chapters written by our expert academic staff in the field.
