Private Military Companies Symposium

It is known that there are around 70 companies from the USA in the field of Private Military Companies or Defense Consulting Companies, and that they build defense infrastructure through these companies in places they consider allies around the world. Apart from physical infrastructure and procurement activities, they carry out management schemes, personnel appointments, and active operations at high fees.

No institution in Turkey dates back 2500 years, with the sole exception of the "Land Forces Command". The only institution that remained uninterrupted during the transition from the Ottoman Empire to the Republic was the Turkish Armed Forces. We have an army with established military culture and strong accumulations. It has always renewed itself with its integration into NATO.

One way to benefit from the experience of our general staff officers, many of whom retired from our Armed Forces and founded or operated security companies, was to establish Defense Companies. International Defense Consulting Company (SADAT) is the first company to pioneer the establishment of open, transparent, and accountable companies in accordance with the law.

On February 18, 2018, a symposium was held at Üsküdar University, open to the press. The aim was to show that the best way to respond to baseless defamation campaigns, which are a method of black propaganda, is to be "open, transparent, and accountable."
