The book evaluates the relationship between the digitalization process and the state of loneliness in an interdisciplinary framework. In this context, the book examines digitalization and its relationship with loneliness from historical, philosophical, sociological, medical, psychiatric, psychological, political, and artistic perspectives by authors from different disciplines, and the positive and negative aspects of this relationship are opened to discussion.
We can state that this study is also a guide for the solution of multifaceted problems caused by the issue of loneliness, of which negative aspects have deepened with the digitalization process.
