Our country has taken significant steps towards becoming a welfare state in recent years. However, as in other countries, social assistance is activated upon the request of the person in need. This situation can make it difficult for some individuals in need to access help for various reasons. Furthermore, "Psychosocial Assistance" services, which are the most difficult to provide, can also be insufficient.

The innovative social assistance model we propose will provide an effective solution to these difficulties. Indeed, the pilot application, carried out in cooperation with Üsküdar University and the Üsküdar District Governorship, resulted in great satisfaction among the elderly individuals living alone who were reached within the scope of the project.

An additional benefit observed in the pilot application was the great happiness of the young people involved in this model. This book aims to share these experiences and deliver the provided benefit to all those in need.
