Mesut Karahan

Prof. Dr. Mesut KARAHAN was born in Istanbul in 1977 and is a graduate of Pertevniyal High School. He completed his undergraduate degree in the Chemistry Department of Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences in 1999. Between 2001 and 2012, he worked at Yıldız Technical University. In 2002, he received his Master's degree from the same university with his thesis titled “Structural Models of Ternary Polymer-Metal-Protein Complexes”. In 2009, he completed his PhD on “Development of Metal-Containing Functional Biopolymer Systems”. Karahan has been serving as a faculty member at Üsküdar University since 2012.

He has taken part in numerous postgraduate theses and research projects (national-international). He has many international and national articles, books, book chapters, and presentations.

He is married and has 1 child.
