Ebulfez SÜLEYMANLI
Born in the Ucar district of Azerbaijan in 1975. After completing his primary, secondary, and high school education here, he was among the first group of students from Azerbaijan to come to our country in 1991 and began his undergraduate education in the Sociology Department of Istanbul University's Faculty of Literature. After completing his undergraduate education in 1995, he pursued his master's degree in the Department of Social Structure-Social Change at Istanbul University's Faculty of Economics. After graduating from here, in the same year (1998) he started his doctoral education in the Sociology Department of Istanbul University's Faculty of Literature and received his doctorate with the thesis titled “Sociological Examination of National Identity Searches in the Recent History of Azerbaijan.” In 2012, he successfully passed the associate professorship exam in Turkey and earned this title in the field of sociology. A. Süleymanov, who has been engaged in scientific activities at various universities and scientific centers in Azerbaijan for a long time, currently continues his academic work as the Head of the Sociology Department at Üsküdar University's Faculty of Human and Social Sciences. A. Süleymanov, who also serves as the Vice President of the Turkish World Sociologists Association and the President of the Eurasian Social Research Center, has over 60 works on family, national identity, migration, youth, and children, 40 of which are international.
