“The Search for Meaning in a Digitalizing World” Social Isolation or Longevity?

Since its establishment, Üsküdar University has made it its mission to promote the recognition and widespread adoption of Positive Psychology in Türkiye. In line with this mission, we have organized internationally attended congresses in 2016, 2017, 2019, 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. In addition, with its 13th issue published in September 2022, we incorporated The Journal of Happiness and Well-Being into the portfolio of Üsküdar University’s periodical publications. Encouraged by the strong interest and high level of participation in our congresses, we are delighted to announce that the 8th International Congress of Positive Psychology will be held on April 25–26, 2026, in a phygital format at Üsküdar University in Istanbul. This year’s main theme is: “The Search for Meaning in a Digitalizing World: Social Isolation or Longevity?”

As we look forward to welcoming distinguished national and international scholars who conduct research and have made significant contributions to the field of Positive Psychology, we believe that the participation and scientific contributions of our esteemed colleagues will further enrich our congress.
