Amina: A Story of Not Giving Up

Tevfik Fikret says, “Societies that do not educate girls condemn their boys to misfortune.”
T. Fikret intended to emphasize that while this situation harms women, it also harms men.
The fact that a child raised by an illiterate mother cannot contribute sufficiently to themselves and society is indeed clearly observed in real life, as family is the first and most fundamental source of education for a child.
The mother is the backbone of the family, as the saying goes, “The hen builds the nest.”
Furthermore, children spend more time with their mothers than with their fathers.
Today, girls can do everything a boy can do. In this regard, there is no deficiency in girls.
On the other hand, although all Semitic and humanistic belief systems encourage reading, especially for girls, some members of these belief systems are more conservative in continuing traditions, and some bigoted individuals may utter primitive words like “What good would it do for a girl to be educated?” However, nations that educate their girls have always been prosperous, peaceful, and problem-free nations. History is full of such examples.
With my sincerest thanks...
